Zeidler Partnership Architects' China office-Shanghai Branch has been expanding rapidly since it opened in 2007. The Shanghai office team has over 14 year of experience in architecture, interior design and planning. Together with the balance of the China office, this team brings local knowledge, experience, and awareness of the local economy, geography and climate to their designs of institutional, civic, residential, office and mixed-use projects in this region. Vincent Liu who has won many national design awards, is the vice general manager of ZPA China managing the Shanghai office. Vincent and his team of over 20 architects are involved with the design, planning and management of projects for the firm's East China clients.
The Shanghai office has progressively completed a great number of designs, including several mixed-use projects incorporating hotel, office, retail and residential. Such projects include Dahua Paris Spring Commercial, SNDA Rainbow City, Hangzhou Yingdu and Changsha Gangdao RD Mixed-use Projects. In addition, the Shanghai office has also expanded into the Cities of Shenyang and Tangshan for some public works projects. Shenyang Century Huafeng Cultural Plaza, Shenyang Concert Hall, Tangshan Life Style Center, Tangshan Science Museum and Children's Palace are some examples.
